Beautiful waterfalls characterize the Alsea Falls Recreation area. Visitors can hike or mountain bike on many miles of trails through second growth forests. The site also features a picnic area and campground (fees apply).
A loop-extender option for those with extra energy, the Coyote Canyon Trail follows a ridge above Fall Creek before dropping sharply down a series of switchbacks to intersect the Bailout, 14-7-36 road, and Steller Jay trails. About 30% single-track, 70% gated roads.
