Beautiful waterfalls characterize the Alsea Falls Recreation area. Visitors can hike or mountain bike on many miles of trails through second growth forests. The site also features a picnic area and campground (fees apply).
The only ungated road forming part of the Alsea Falls mountain bike network, the 14-6-9 road follows Coleman Creek and provides access to the Coleman's Return loop as well as longer loop options following the Fern Hopper or Billy Buster trails.
