This short trail is fun for families visiting Bellfountain Park to experience its rural charm and history. The Spring Loop Trail meanders along the western and northern boundaries of the park passing alongside large open grown Douglas-fir trees. The park sits on a ridge with good views to the east. The trail also passes by the concrete cistern which supplies the park with water. The area containing Bellfountain Park has been a traditional community meeting place and recreation area since the 1890s.
